Blue Light Weekend nominated for major tourism award
Blue Light Weekend has been nominated for the prestigious Remarkable Tourism Event of the Year award in this year's REYTAs.
Just being nominated alongside some of the region’s biggest events is a fantastic achievement and a tribute to our volunteers, sponsors, supporters and everyone who helps make the weekend possible.
The vote is now closed, and the winners will be announced during a ceremony at Bridlington Spa in November – wish us luck! 💙
What a weekend! Watch this short video by the Holderness & Hornsea Gazette and relive some of the best moments of BLW26

ABOUT BLUE
LIGHT WEEKEND
RAISING AWARENESS OF OUR EMERGENCY & LIFESAVING SERVICES, AND MILITARY VETERANS
Blue Light Weekend was the idea of Steve Medcalf in 2022.
He wanted to raise awareness and money for local emergency, lifesaving and military veterans' services while the same time putting Withernsea on the map.
A small group of family and friends were
determined to realise his dream.
A huge thank you to our headline sponsors!
