Blue Light Weekend turned up the volume for 2026 with the launch of Blue Light Live – two packed days of free music in Withernsea’s Italian Gardens on Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9.

 

Running from noon to 10pm on both days, Blue Light Live featured a larger stage, a huge screen, food and refreshments and plenty of seating.

Saturday’s line-up was headed by the long-awaited return of popular Withernsea band the Axenals, while Sunday was rounded off by a roaring set from top Madness tribute Badness before a big fireworks display brought down the curtain on BLW26.​

Blue Light Live will be back in 2027, so watch this space!
