Kids HQ
New for Blue Light Weekend 2026, Kids’ HQ will bring a packed programme of family activities to Belvedere Play Park on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9.
There will be plenty for children of all ages to enjoy, including interactive workshops, role play, magic, circus skills, arts and crafts, giant games and much more. Dino Star from Hull will also be joining the fun, while a K-pop star will appear on the Sunday and Mr Shiney the magician will entertain families on the Saturday.
Most activities will be completely free, with only the bouncy castle area carrying a charge. A discounted early-bird weekend pass will also be available through the Blue Light Weekend website.
Kids’ HQ is sponsored by Patrington Haven Leisure Park, with additional support from an East Riding Arts grant and the Hull and East Yorkshire Charitable Trust. The Friends of St Nicholas will also be running the free arts and crafts tent.
There are still a few surprises being kept under wraps, so make sure you visit Kids’ HQ during the weekend and see what else is waiting.
