​The Withernsea Raft Race, sponsored by Mimir Marine, is one of the most exciting and long-standing traditions in the town, bringing together teams from across the community for a thrilling challenge at sea. ​

 

Originally part of Withernsea’s Water Safety Day, this much-loved event has been a staple for years – and now plays a major role in Blue Light Weekend.

This year, on Saturday, August 8, about 20 teams will take to the water, battling the waves and each other in a test of skill, teamwork and pure determination! Expect plenty of friendly rivalry, spectacular raft designs and big splashes as competitors race to claim victory.
