About The Event
How many sea swims do you know off the Yorkshire coast? Not many as this is TOUGH !
To help you will swim with the current - so for example if you can swim 1 mile in a pool in around 40 mins, with a good current you could get a time of 30 mins in the sea!
Now in its 4th year and the traditional showcase opener to the Blue Light Weekend.
In 2025 the One Mile event will start on the beach in front of Captain Williams and end on the beach near RNLI Station in order to swim with the tide.
The Half Mile event starts at Pier Towers.
Swimmer's clothes/belongings will be taken to the finish.
