The official Blue Light Weekend beer mat raffle returns for 2026, with two unforgettable flying experiences among the prizes.
 
The top prize is a 20-minute flight in G-BJAL, a historic CASA 1-131E Jungmann biplane based at Breighton Airfield near Selby. Built in 1957 and formerly used by the Spanish Air Force, the aircraft is a Spanish-built version of the German Bücker Bü 131 training plane and is a regular sight at air shows in its distinctive 1930s markings. The type also featured in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
 
Also up for grabs is a helicopter flight over Holderness for two, offering the winners a spectacular view of the area from the air.
 
Entry is open to over-18s only. Both flying prizes are subject to operational availability, weather conditions and the physical restrictions and terms set by the aircraft operators. Further prize and draw details will be announced nearer the weekend.
